“I never saw myself getting out and hunting, because I didn’t think it was a safe pace for me. I was wrong. The woods, the river banks and the mountains are filled with people willing to share information and that are excited to see more folks getting out and harvesting their own food. This industry hasn’t done a great job of telling the stories of the folks that are out here , so I’ve made it my mission to share these stories so more people will feel welcomed into these spaces.”
